- Access to data on the site is limited to administrators of the site
- Authentication for access to the machine or the site is provided by University of Leicester LDAP services, i.e., Windows Network Authentication.
- The server is protected behind the University of Leicester firewall.
- Communication between the application and its users are encrypted using SSL (HTTPS).
